Shree Maratha Patil Samaj Sanghatan is registered as an organization with the office of charity commissioner Vadodara in the beginning from year 1985. The organization has grown over the years and from a meagre membership of 10 families of the community, today Maratha Patil Samaj Sanghatan boasts of almost 1600 registered families.
During the establishment of Maratha Patil Samaj Sanghatan, one of the prime objectives was to ensure that when the community members migrate from various part of North Maharashtra - KHANDESH in Gujarat to pursue job/business, they get comfortable and affectionate environment in an entirely new place of residence.
However, objectives of the society have changed in accordance with the contemporary requirements and Shree Maratha Patil Samaj Sanghatan today is a progressive community organization with a social cause.
The Maratha Patil Samaj Sanghatan can boast of its own building (5000 Sq.ft) named
'MARATHA SADAN' located in the prime location in city of Vadodara which is a symbol of identity and aspirations of Maratha Patil community in the progressive state Gujarat of our great nation INDIA.
The Maratha Sadan is equipped with full fledged facility wherein various events are performed and the property is available for every citizen of India for conducting their functions such as marriages / rituals etc. on first come first basis. Priority is given to members of Shree Maratha Patil Samaj Sanghatan.
The Maratha Patil Samaj Sanghatan is not only well-known in Vadodara, but its fame and rapport has spread across the state of Gujarat too. And now we are proud to share that our Sanghtan is well recognised in whole of India. A directory of the Maratha Patil Samaj Sanghatan is published every 5 years and the comprehensive details of each registered member and his family members are updated/ incorporated.
Maratha Patil Samaj Sanghatan conducts the activities as a part of protocol as well as organizes various events/ programmes towards overall development of its members and society as a whole.
